Sales of new passenger cars is increasing

In the first quarter of 2024 , 139,000 new passenger cars were registered in the Polish automotive market - nearly 13% more than in the same period last year. Worse sales results were recorded in the truck segment (-16% y/y). In the first three months of 2024, as many as 73,000 alternative-drive vehicles were registered in Poland, 34.3% more than a year earlier. The beginning of 2024 was encouraging for Polish automotive factories - 20% more motor vehicles were produced than in the same period of the previous year, according to a report by PZPM and KPMG in Poland“ Automotive Industry, Q2/2024 Edition.”
The report is out of a series of quarterly reports aimed to present current trends in the Polish automotive industry, including automotive retail, manufacturing, and financial services. Analysis are based on the most recent registrations, statistical and market data, and is a result of a joint endeavour by the Polish Automotive Industry Association and KPMG in Poland.

10 days of MAY 2024 - new registrations PC, LCV, CV and PTW

After 10 days of MAY this year, double and single-digit increases in registrations were recorded in all segments of new vehicles.
During the first 10 days of the current month, there were registered:    9,864 passenger cars (+21.7% y/y)

  •     882 light commercial vehicles , up 5.8% y/y
  •     Sales of new heavy trucks over 3.5t rose 19.9% to 802 units.
  •     Unicycles continued their upward trend : Motorcycles: 1163 units. +21.9% y/y ; Scooters: 462 pcs. +20.9% y/y.

We are pleased to announce  a monthly press release entitled "eRegistrations" on the first registrations of new vehicles with alternative fuels as for APRIL 2024
The publication contains a detailed analysis of the first registrations of passenger cars, vans up to 3.5 t, trucks over 3.5 t, buses, motorcycles and mopeds, as well as up-to-date information on CNG and LNG charging and refueling infrastructure.
