Passenger car registrations continued to grow for the second consecutive month after a slowdown in the last month of last year, while light commercial vehicles recorded a slight increase. however, heavy trucks went into a double-digit decline compared to last year.
In the reported period:
- 27,826 passenger cars were registered, 21.2% year-on-year higher than in the corresponding time last year.
- Light commercial vehicle registrations increased by 1.6% y/y to 2,418 units.
- Sales of new heavy trucks over 3.5t, with 1,439 registered vehicles, again recorded a double-digit y/y decline, this time by 21.5% y/y.
