The new version of the NaszEauto programme

As previously announced by the Ministry of Climate and Environment and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, a new version of the ‘NaszEauto’ subsidy programme will be launched on 20 October 2025. After completion of the public consultation stage and analysis of the comments submitted, a number of changes were introduced to increase the availability of zero-emission vehicles and streamline the support process for beneficiaries.
The most important changes:
Expansion of the list of beneficiaries: not only individuals and sole traders can apply for subsidies, but also non-governmental organisations, public institutions, national parks, educational, medical and care facilities.
New categories of vehicles covered by the support:

  •         Passenger cars (M1) – up to PLN 40,000 in subsidies.
  •         Small passenger buses (M2, up to 5 tonnes) – up to PLN 600,000 in subsidies.
  •         Light commercial vehicles (N1, up to 3.5 tonnes) – up to PLN 70,000 in subsidies.

Changes to the rules for granting bonuses:
The bonus for low income has been removed.
The bonus for scrapping remains, but the scrapped vehicle must be of the same category as the new electric vehicle.
The programme budget has been adjusted from PLN 1.6 billion to PLN 1.1 billion.
The programme is financed from the National Recovery Plan (KPO).
Important information for applicants:
There is no need to withdraw previously submitted applications. Applications that have not yet been processed will be evaluated in accordance with the new rules of the ‘NaszEauto’ programme.
