Automotive Industry, Quarterly report prepared by PZPM and KPMG, edition Q4 2019

In the first three quarters of 2019, 410,800 of new passenger cars were registered in Poland. It was more by 1.9% compared to the same period of the previous year. The number of vehicle registrations with alternative propulsions is growing very dynamically, with 28 558 units registered since the beginning of the year (+ 60.3% y / y). In the first half of current year the value of exports of automotive products (including motor vehicles) from Poland increased by 3.5% y / y, while the value of exports of passenger cars decreased by 6.2%. In total, nearly 500,000 motor vehicles have left Polish plants since the beginning of the year, which means an increase of 0.5% y / y
The report is out of series of quarterly reports aimed to present current trends in the Polish automotive industry, including automotive retail, manufacturing and financial services. Analysis are based on the most recent registrations, statistical and market data and is a result of a joint endeavour by the Polish Automotive Industry Association and KPMG in Poland.
