In the first half of 2022
, 212,400 new passenger cars were registered in Poland - 12.3% less than in the same period last year. Lower sales results were also recorded by the segments of LCVs (-18.3%), heavy commercial vehicles (-2.5%), trailers and semi-trailers (-8%) and buses (-8.9%). However, sales of passenger cars with alternative propulsion systems increased, with nearly 87,000 vehicles of this type registered in the six months of 2022, 10.3% more than in the same period of 2021. The production of motor vehicles in Poland during the first six months of 2022 amounted to 214.3 thousand units - which is 14.6% lower y/y.
