In 2021, 446.6 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Poland by 4.3% more than in 2020.

The increase in registrations also concerns LCVs (+23.9%), heavy trucks (+58.1%), and trailers and semi-trailers, which were registered nearly 95% more y/y. The dynamic growth rate is maintained in the segment of passenger cars with alternative drives. In Poland in 2021, the number of registrations of cars of this type amounted to 152 thousand and was higher by 82% than in 2020. In the whole of 2021, a total of 437.4 thousand vehicles were produced in Poland, which means a decrease of 3.1% y/y and the continuation of the downward trend lasting for 4 years in a row. The most significant decrease saw the production of passenger cars - by 7.2%.
