Walne Zgromadzenie PZPM 2025

On June 11, the annual General Meeting of the Polish Automotive Industry Association was held at the Sound Garden Hotel.
The meeting was well attended by representatives of member companies PZPM, whom we thank for coming, constructive discussions and comments that will translate into even better work of our organization for the benefit of affiliated companies.
The guest of honor of the General Assembly was Secretary of State Krzysztof (Chris) Bolesta from the Ministry of Climate and Environment, who, in a conversation with PZPM President Jakub Farys, provided a number of extremely timely and important information, among others. on:

  • planned legislative initiatives of the EC,
  • planned transfer of PLN 400 million from the OurEauto program for other purposes,
  • Extension of the OurEauto program to include M2, N1 vehicles, as well as JST and national parks
  •  regional cooperation of CEE countries with the EC,
  •  further development of charging infrastructure (AFIR,MCS),
  •  possibility of introducing the Social Leasing program with Social ClimateFund,
  •  CO₂ emission allowance accounting system under the EU ETS,
  •  new support mechanisms under the NIP and EU structural funds, 
  •  and EC plans for 2025-2030,

Minister Bolesta also answered questions from participants and presented the Ministry's plans for legislative areas, including those still in the draft stage. The opportunity to learn about the Ministry's prospects for future activities and the direct discussion made the meeting highly informative and useful for representatives of automotive companies.
In an online connection, the participants of the General Assembly were also addressed by Sigrid de Vries, Director General of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) , who emphasized the active role of PZPM on the European forum and the importance of the voice of the Polish industry in the process of transformation of the automotive sector.
After both speeches, we moved on to the standard follow-up part of the General Assembly.
We sincerely thank all those present for their discussions, questions and cooperation.

Fleet Electric Day 2025 - electromobility in the spotlight for fleets

Fleet Electric Day is a unique initiative of Fleet magazine, aimed at fleet and automotive professionals. It combines test drives of the latest electric and hybrid car models with a conference and exhibition part. The event was attended by Michal Wekiera - Director General of PZPM , who talked about the impact of US tariffs on the automotive market and the consequences for the subsidy system and EU emission policy.
Participants of the event had the opportunity to:

  •  test a wide range of modern, low-emission vehicles,
  •  learn about current technological solutions for fleets,
  •  consultations with experts and providers of infrastructure, telematics or insurance services.

Fleet Electric Day was also a space for exchanging experiences and establishing business relationships. 

Euromaster Franchisee Conference - TOGETHER WE CREATE MARKET LEADERSHIP.

On May 22-23, Euromaster Poland, together with invited guests: owners of service centers affiliated with the network, Michelin management, and experts in the automotive industry, participated in the Euromaster Franchisee Conference.
The meeting was held under the slogan TOGETHER WE CREATE MARKET LEADERSHIP.
This year's meeting had a business character. In the first part of the conference, participants listened to a presentation on market trends in the automotive industry led by Jakub Farys, President of the Polish Automotive Industry Association.
Then, during a discussion moderated by Tomasz Nastaj, President of the Management Board of Euromaster Poland, the invited experts: the aforementioned Jakub Faryś, Piotr Sarnecki, General Director of the Polish Tire Industry Association, Philippe Videau, Global Franchise Director at Michelin Group and Marketing Director of Michelin's Truck Tire Line, talked about trends and forecasts in relation to the automotive, transportation, tire industry, as well as the business benefits of the franchise model, which is gaining in popularity.
The conference was an opportunity to present Michelin and Euromaster's current offerings to business partners. The Euromaster concept is distinguished by the modern digital solutions on which the company focuses.

Stable passenger car registrations in the first quarter of 2025 - a summary of the automotive industry in 2024 - Report Q1/2025

Data from the first quarter of 2025 indicate continued interest of new vehicles - especially among individual customers and in the segment of cars with alternative drives. According to the latest report by the Polish Automotive Industry Association and KPMG in Poland, 142,000 new passenger cars were registered in Poland in January-March. This is by 2.5% more than in the same period last year. The share of individual customers is noticeably growing - in the first quarter they purchased 11% more vehicles than in the same period of 2024.

The report is out of a series of quarterly reports aimed to present current trends in the Polish automotive industry, including automotive retail, manufacturing, and financial services. Analysis are based on the most recent registrations, statistical and market data, and is a result of a joint endeavour by the Polish Automotive Industry Association and KPMG in Poland.

PZPM/KPMG - Individual customers registered one-third more passenger cars - automotive industry summary 2024 - Report Q4/2024

In 2024, 551,600 new passenger cars were registered in Poland (up 16% y/y). The number of registrations grew particularly sharply among individual customers, who purchased 34% more vehicles than in 2023. The popularity of vehicles with alternative drives is also on the growth, with 280,000 vehicles registered throughout 2024, an increase of 27% compared to the 2023, according to a report by the Polish Automotive Industry Association and  KPMG in Poland,  entitled "The automotive industry.  Summary data for 2024".
