22.06.2023 General Assembly of the Polish Automotive Industry Association

Another General Assembly of the Polish Automotive Industry Association, held on 22nd of June'22 was attended by more than 40 representatives of PZPM member companies importers of vehicles , manufacturers of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, parts and components for first assembly and bodybuilders.
Member of the Polish Parliament, Chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Electromobility and Member of the Committee for Energy, Climate and State Assets, who presented the current energy situation in Poland.
He discussed the availability of green energy and charging infrastructure for cars and lorries, as well as many topics of importance to the automotive industry.
He presented a report on the activities of the Association and the directions of activities for 2023/2024. He also presented a detailed plan for the implementation of the PZPM FUTURE project, which was created on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of PZPM in - light of the transition of European and global automotive from conventional mobility to new types of mobility, including e-mobility.
We would like to express our thanks to all participants for their attendance and active participation in the PZPM General Assembly. Many thanks also go to the PZPM Supervisory Board for its commitment to the work of the Association, in particular to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Mr Marek Gawroński, the Chairman of the Scrutiny Committee, Mr Bogusław Mazur, and the Chairman of the General Meeting and the Secretary for the efficient conduct of the meeting.

20 days of JUNE 2023 - new registrations PC , LCV, CV and PTW

After 20 days of June this year, the registration results in all vehicle segments were up significantly compared to the first 10 days of the month. In comparison to the same period last year, the number of registrations of all types of vehicles except scooters was in positive territory. In the period under review, 21 915 passenger cars were registered (+5.6% y-o-y).
Light commercial vehicle registrations amounted to 2 630 units. (+11.4% y/y). Sales of new heavy trucks over 3.5t increased by 11.3% to 1,793 units.
Unicycles recorded mixed results. Motorbike registrations strengthened by 9.3% y-o-y, while scooter registrations declined by 9.3% year on year.

PZPM / PSPA - E-mobility Index: DC fast charging stations are increasing in Poland - MAY 2023

According to data from the end of May 2023 , a total of 42 859 passenger and commercial all-electric vehicles (BEVs) were registered in Poland. During the first five months of this year, their number increased by 9 134 units, i.e. 71% more than in the same period of 2022. - according to the E-mobility Index, launched by PZPM and PSPA. New car registrations: +18.5% in May, battery electric 13.8% market share

In May 2023, the EU car market saw a significant increase in passenger car registrations, with nearly 1 million units, marking a 18.5% growth from the previous year. This is the tenth consecutive month of growth. All the EU’s four largest markets grew, with the strongest gains in Italy (+23.1%), Germany (+19.2%), and France (+14.8%).
From January to May 2023 , the EU car market grew by 18%, to 4.4 million registered cars. Although the market improved in May, year-to-date sales are still 23% lower compared to the same month in 2019, when 5.7 million units were registered. In this five-month period, there were double-digit gains in most markets, including the four largest: Spain (+26.9%), Italy (+26.1%), France (+16.3%), and Germany (+10.2%).
